Andorra!!!

I have been waiting for this album all my life. Like all Caribou albums Andorra has its' own style to it, but leaves enough of the past to give you a pleasent feeling of nostalgia. You can feel the warmth of the sun in pyschedelic instrumentation and dream pop vocals. Daniel Snaith has done it again. I find myself revering in the layers samples. If you listen closely each note is tweaked, pitch shifted, or modulated (giving it personality). This fanatical attention to detail and originality is what makes Andorra amazing!

splendid. transcendent. his most focused yet, very heavy on the sunny 60's obscuro-pop, but just enough dreamy-ness mixed in! sort of a not-as-dark psychedelia?
