TRS 80

Let the robots take over. TRS 80 should be hired out to do the soundtrack for every sweet science fiction movie that has a battle scene in it ever. Even old movies like Star Wars should be overdubbed with their dark android chorus genius! "Mystery Crash" came out in 06 but it is still dancing in my ears!! The Chicago based trio has a new album scheduled to come out in November 07 called "The New You" be sure to check it out!

Electronicon!!!

I have always been a fan of alternative electronic music. Me and my brother grew up listening to weird Christian electro artists such as Joy Electric, Norway, and House of Wires. About 4 years ago a friend of mine sent me a disc with a song by M83 on it, my mouth dropped open and my cartoon eyes lept out of their sockets. I was listening to "In Church" off of Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts while working at a packaging warehouse in Arkansas and blacked out from how overwhelmed the track made me feel. Well Anthony Gonzalez has blessed us again with his newest incarnation "Digital Shades." M83 feels like a stab at neo-romanticism. Visions of green fields and all encompassing goodness hit me with every track. I would say that he is the greatest artist of our age hands down. Go buy all of his music if you aren't all ready freaking out about it as much as I am and get ready for the next M83 full length early in 2008
